Building the perspective of constitutional values in Dumka district of Jharkhand.

  • Targeted Recipients: Fellowships are granted to individuals from areas where Lahanti has a history of engagement. We focus on rural communities, community workers, and activists in the field of the Forest Rights Act (FRA) with diverse activities.

  • Project Implementation: The program strategically unfolds throughout Dumka district, Jharkhand, aiming to address the multifaceted challenges faced by tribal communities.

  • Thematic Focus Areas:

    • Constitution Values: Fellows work towards instilling and promoting constitutional values within their communities.

    • Tribal Self-Governance: Emphasis on empowering tribal communities in self-governance.

    • Rights and Entitlements: Advocacy for awareness and implementation of rights, particularly focusing on the Forest Rights Act.

  • Community-Based Model: Fellows operate through a community-based model, continuing impactful work in Gram Sabhas, communities, villages, and various platforms used to engage and educate the people.
